This summer brought some dynamic shifts in our lab’s composition. Several amazing people wrapped up their work in the Innate lab and set off to pursue exciting new personal and professional adventures.
Yiqi, our former PhD student, moved to Japan to continue her scientific career as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo, where she will be studying coronavirus evolution and cross-species transmission.
Daniel, our technician, is taking his enthusiasm for great science somewhere new. We’re sure he’ll continue to make a difference wherever he goes.
Anqi, our former PhD student, has started a new position as a postdoctoral researcher in China, embarking on the next exciting chapter of her scientific journey.
Alex, also a former PhD student, is following his characteristic curiosity in a new direction and has decided to explore the business world by pursuing an MBA.
We will certainly miss having them around, but we’re very happy to see each of them taking on new challenges and opportunities. We wish Yiqi, Daniel, Anqi, and Alex all the very best in their new adventures and hope their paths bring them plenty of exciting discoveries, success, and happiness!
